“Live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find eternity in each moment.” ~ Thoreau
I know you’ve heard about this before…
Sadly… it is the phrase that comes to many when they lose someone they love regardless of how they have lost that love; as we all know life is never the same.
What do we do?
Now… we are left to find a new normal
And what the heck is a new normal?
A new normal is
Whatever you determine that to be
Nothing left to say about that because there is not one person, advisor, mentor, therapist, co-worker, friend or family member that can tell you what a new normal for you is nor how to deal with it
A new normal is what you have to find
A new normal is your reality
A new normal is your NOW way of being in the world
A new normal is what will help you
A new normal is not to be feared
A new normal is okay
A new normal will help you when you are ready
A new normal will take away the fear and allow you to let
go of all the shoulda’s, coulda’s, and woulda’s of the world
A new normal is how you will go on
Even when you don’t think you can
Even when you don’t want to
A new normal is exactly what you need to survive and move on.
Will you want to face this? Not at first
Will you hate to admit that a new normal will help you? Absolutely
Will it be easy? Maybe, maybe not; I’d venture a guess for most, absolutely not.
Will it hurt and bring up emotions that you never thought were inside of you… Yes it will
Will you be okay as you find your new normal? Without a doubt, yes, you will be okay, no matter what
A new normal
It is real
It will help you
It will acknowledge everything that you have been through and will compliment and embrace you for all that you have done and will continue to do
A new normal will be your truth after all is said and done
A new normal will be your truth as you see it in the moment.
A new normal is what it is… a new normal
A new normal is what is available and there for those that need it anytime and in any moment
You will always have at your disposal the ability to create a new normal any time you see fit and I hope that you will realize that you will find the comfort and strength that you need to always keep moving forward
You will find your new normal and it will be exactly what it needs to be for you… and you will be okay..
I can promise you that.
